MEDiThings was named one of the Grand Prize winners at the 2024 Startup Incubating Competition, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

The event was held from November 19 to 20, 2024, at The Westin Josun Busan, together with the Integrated Performance Report Meeting for Startup Infrastructure Programs.

The Startup Incubating Competition brings together startup support organizations across Korea, including Business Incubation Centers, one-person creative and middle-aged startup centers, and makerspaces. Among approximately 500 companies using these startup infrastructure programs nationwide, promising startup teams were selected, supported through a three-month incubation process, and evaluated for final awards.

A total of 87 teams received awards. MEDiThings won the Grand Prize in the Growth-Stage Commercialization Manufacturing Division, alongside other Grand Prize winners across different categories.

Award recipients received certificates, prize money of up to KRW 5 million, and additional benefits such as priority access to startup infrastructure programs, preferred participation in support programs, and product manufacturing support through the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups also recognized 41 individuals and organizations that contributed to building Korea’s startup ecosystem. Following the awards ceremony, more than 300 startup infrastructure professionals gathered to share best practices and discuss future collaboration.

This recognition highlights MEDiThings’ growth potential as a healthcare technology startup developing innovative solutions for bladder care and patient-centered monitoring.
