MEDiThings previously attracted investment from Kakao Ventures in 2023. Aram Kim, CEO of MEDiThings, and Sehwan Kim continue to focus on addressing unmet needs in bladder care, particularly for patients and care providers in neurogenic bladder and long-term care settings.
In Japan, care robots and assistive technologies have received active policy support, including excretion-assistive technologies for long-term care settings. In Korea, welfare equipment support and pilot programs are also being used to evaluate assistive care technologies such as diaper sensors, oral cleaning devices, AI care robots, and fall detection systems.
MEDiThings aims to contribute to a future where bladder care can be managed more accurately, conveniently, and with greater dignity for patients and caregivers.
